Morris Joins 828 International

Greenville, SC, April 13--828 International named Tom Morris to the newly created post of Northeast Regional Manager, effective immediately. In his new position, Morris will be responsible for the development of dealer accounts and growth of 828 International’s business in 10 states. He reports to Mark Ferullo, vice president of 828 International, and is based in Woburn, Massachusetts. Morris has more than 20 years experience in the floor covering industry. Most recently, he was Northeast Territory Manager for Karastan, Ralph Lauren and CustomWeave—the Fashion Group of Mohawk Industries, Inc—and was top sales producer for 2004. Prior to Mohawk, Morris was vice president of Able Rug, where he was responsible for the operations and management of four Massachusetts retail locations. "I have known Morris for many years and have long admired his contributions to our industry," says Ferullo. "He has excelled at both the retail and manufacturing levels, with experience in sales, management, training, inventory, purchasing, advertising, shipping and receiving.
