Momenti Launches Nolita and Ladiq

Marble Hill, GA, May 24, 2007--New on the style frontier are two collections from Momeni that take the floor in exciting directions. Distinctly casual, each series presents innovative ideas for the home in patterns that proudly carry the Wools of New Zealand Brand.

Named after a bustling New York City neighborhood, Nolita is a collection that brings big city fashion to the home. Momeni patterns the rugs in oversized, contemporary motifs that are colored in stunning combinations—like red, black and white. Nolita is power-loomed on Momeni’s new 10-frame loom and finished with hand-carved details and hand-serged edges. The collection is offered in 2 x 3, 3 x 5, 5 x 8, 8 x 10, 9.6 x 13 and 2.6 x 8 sizes in addition to 5-foot and 8-foot rounds. Style #NL-05 also comes in a 2.6 x 8 color blanket.

Suggested retail for the Nolita Collection is $439 for a 5 x 8.

Ladiq is a unique collection of power-loomed rugs that evoke a sense of the past. Rare Turkish antiques provide the inspiration for these patterns, which Momeni blends with modern-day colors and transitional styling. Over-twisted New Zealand wool yarns give the rugs a hand-knotted look that is enhanced with abrashed effects and hand-serged edges.

All rugs in the Ladiq Collection come in 2 x 3, 2.3 x 6, 3.6 x 5.6, 5 x 8, 7.6 x 9.6, 8 x 11 and 9.6 x 13 sizes, in addition to 2.6 x 8 and 2.6 x 12 runners and an 8-foot square.

Momeni’s Ladiq Collection has a suggested retail of $479 for a 5 x 8.
