Mohawk Wins 2023 Promise Award from Susan G. Komen

Calhoun, GA, August 2, 2023-Mohawk was recognized with the 2023 Promise Award from Susan G. Komen at the tenth annual Bubbles & Bling event at the Atlanta History Center.

Created in honor of the promise Susan G. Komen founder Nancy Brinker made to end breast cancer forever, the award is presented to those who go above and beyond.

During the signature fundraising event featuring a cocktail reception with music and dancing, more than 300 leaders from Atlanta’s business and philanthropic communities participated in live and silent auctions while Komen celebrated their long-standing partnership with Mohawk.

On the residential side, Mohawk’s Decorate for the Cure program donates a certain percentage of SmartCushion sales to Komen. Additionally, Mohawk supports Komen’s Three-Day events with SmartCushion pads to comfort walkers and crew members along with teaming up with retail partners in each city to host celebratory lunch events. On the commercial side, Mohawk’s Specify for a Cure program donates proceeds from the sales of eligible flooring products to help the nonprofit carry out its mission.
