Mohawk Set to Sell $1.4B Notes

Calhoun, GA, January 10, 2006--Mohawk Industries Inc. plans to sell $1.4 billion notes in a two-part offering this week, market sources said on Monday. The sale includes a five-year and a 10-year note issue.
