Mohawk Publishes Second Sustainability Report

Calhoun, GA, July 26, 2011--Mohawk Industries has published its second annual sustainability report at mohawksustainability.com

Mohawk said the report shows improvement and excellence in nearly every measure of sustainability for 2010.

The report details the company’s sustainability efforts throughout the world with regards to people, places and products.

“Our shareholders, our customers, our consumers and the men and women around the world who make, deliver, sell and support our products are this company’s inspiration for becoming better every year,” said CEO Jeff Lorberbaum.

This year’s report, once again validated by Netherlands-based FIRA, includes new measures of sustainability at Mohawk and reflects how changes and improvements globally are benefiting Mohawk’s stakeholders.

The report follows Global Reporting Initiative guidelines.
