Mohawk on Newsweek's Annual Green List

Dalton, GA, Oct. 25, 2011 -- For the third consecutive year, Newsweek recognized Mohawk Industries in the magazine’s annual ranking of the 500 “greenest” U.S. companies.

The list ranks the top 500 largest publicly traded companies. It does not include private firms.

Mohawk is the only flooring company to make the 2011 list, which can be seen in the issue of Newsweek currently on newsstands.

According to Newsweek, Mohawk now ranks 292nd in overall sustainability, moving up from 350th on the 2010 Green Rankings list.
