Mohawk Names Northeastern Sales VP

Dalton, GA, January 4, 2008— Bob Nichols has been named vice president of northeastern sales for Mohawk Industries’ Hard Surfaces Division. He will be responsible for managing Mohawk’s Northeast and Mid-Central regions.

In addition, Mohawk said that Rik Born, Mohawk VP of hard surfaces, has been given expanded responsibilities for Mohawk’s South Central region along with his current duties in the Southeast and North Central regions.

Nichols most recently was president of Superior Products, an independent distributor in the Mid-Atlantic, with revenues in excess of $150 million. Nichols also serves on the board of the National Wood Flooring Association.
