Mohawk Names New CFO and Controller

Washington, DC, September 6, 2006--Mohawk Industries, according to its filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission, named Thomas J. Kanuk to the post of chief accounting officer and corporate controller. Kanuk will replace Michel S. Vermette, who was promoted to chief financial officer, according to the company's SEC filing. Kanuk had been with Dresser Inc., where he served as chief accounting officer and corporate controller.
