Calhoun, GA, Dec. 13, 2010 — Mohawk named its Floorscapes and ColorCenter Dealers of the Year at its recent convention.
Joe Montemagni of Baystate Rug and Flooring, Chicopee, Mass. was named 2010 Mohawk Floorscapes National Dealer of the Year and Todd and Renne Wenner of Lima Carpet Corp and Design Center, Avon, N.Y., were tapped as the 2010 Mohawk ColorCenter National Dealer of The Year.
Baystate Rug and Flooring has been a Mohawk Floorscapes dealer for eight years. The company was founded in 1975 by the Montemagni family, and installed the Floorscapes system as part of a store location change and makeover. Baystate Rug and Flooring was a regional nominee for the Dealer of the Year Award in 2009.
Lima Carpet Corp and Design Center joined the Mohawk ColorCenter program in 1996.
Mohawk’s National Dealer of the Year Award is based on a number of criteria, including a percentage increase over previous year’s business, excellence in promoting the store concept, ongoing commitment to training, store standards, brand building, merchandising and installation ideas and community involvement.
