Mohawk & Mohawk Group Shifting to Net 30 Terms

Calhoun, GA, August 15, 2023-Mohawk and Mohawk Group are shifting to net 30 terms on all commercial and residential carpet.

Mohawk's change in terms take effect with shipments made on or after October 2.

This shift to net 30 terms on carpet follows Shaw Industries' announcement on August 4, which was announced to take effect on orders placed on or after September 5.

Using data from Floor Focus' May Annual Report issue, Shaw's $3.1 billion carpet sales combined with Mohawk's $1.7 billion combine to represent 56% of the $8.5 billion annual carpet market.

Hard surface products continue to take marketshare from carpet with carpet sales in 2022 roughly 30% of the total flooring market. Hard surface products are sold on net 30 terms.
