Mohawk, Karastan Begin Operation Rebuild

Dalton, GA, Sept. 12, 2011 -- Mohawk and Karastan are launching Operation Rebuild to help retailers and consumers on the east coast who were severely affected by Hurricane Irene.

Vermont, Massachusetts, New York, New Jersey and Connecticut were some of the hardest hit areas with extensive flooding, among other problems.

Mohawk/Karastan sales teams and credit departments will work together to help rebuild stores and provide retailers with the necessary credit to continue operations.

Additionally, to help consumers affected in the Northeast, Mohawk and Karastan have prepared a very aggressive consumer finance offer, with buy downs, allowing consumers to finance their flooring needs at essentially no cost to them.

Both soft and hard surface products are included in the promotion.

The companies are also deploying key inventory to the Northeast to ensure retailers are prepared with adequate product needed to help get consumers back home quickly.
