Mohawk in Summer Events With Consumer Pubs

Dalton, GA, June 8, 2010--Mohawk is holding a series of high profile events in Manhattan with some of the largest consumer lifestyle magazines in the business.

Mohawk is part of a summer social schedule featuring innovative green design projects, celebrity chefs and designers, fresh ideas, and Mohawk flooring.

In the Country Living 2010 House of the Year, Mohawk is participating in the project with two products: Mohawk EverStrand carpet featuring 100% post consumer recycled content from soft drink bottles, and reclaimed Zanzibar antique elm wood, a hardwood floor that uses reclaimed lumber from age old dismantled buildings.

The House Beautiful 2010 Kitchen of the Year uses Mohawk SmartStrand carpet and Zanzibar reclaimed antique elm hardwood.

At the Saveur Summer BBQ, Saveur magazine will be hosting a collection of celebrity chefs. Mohawk will also have a promotion featuring its SmartStrand carpet but did not provide further details.
