Mohawk Expands Florida Distribution Center

Pembroke, FL, December 12, 2006--Mohawk signed a new long-term lease with KTR Capital Partners of New York for a 260,000 square-foot, build-to-suit distribution facility, expanding its already significant presence in the Seneca Industrial Park. The proposed facility is part of KTR’s new 31-acre Seneca North Project at 3200 SW 32nd Avenue in the heart of Pembroke Pines. Financial terms and length of lease were not disclosed. Mohawk is scheduled to occupy the facility in the third quarter of 2007 when the building delivers. Following the construction of two speculative buildings, the Seneca North development will offer close to 540,000 square feet, according to Stephen J. Butte, KTR Capital Partners' senior vice president.
