Mohawk Debt Tender Offer Popular

Calhoun, GA, March 29, 2010--Mohawk Industries said that holders of its 6.5% senior notes have tendered a total of $300,756,000 as of last Friday.

That represents 50% more than the company said it intended to purchase when it made the offer to purchase $200 million.

Holders who validly tendered their notes by the Early Tender Date will receive $1,035.00 for each $1,000 principal amount of notes. However, Mohawk did not say if it would accept more than $200 million.

The tender offer is scheduled to expire on Friday, April 9.
