Mohawk Completes Lees Expense Analysis

Calhoun, GA, Nov. 24--Mohawk Industries Inc. said it completed its analysis and calculation of incremental depreciation and amortization expense for fiscal 2004 in connection with its acquisition of Lees Carpet. In a Form 8-K filed Monday with the Securities and Exchange Commission, Mohawk Industries said it expects incremental depreciation expense of $6.5 million and incremental amortization expense of $3.6 million. Mohawk Industries said Nov. 11 that it completed the acquisition of Lees Carpet for $346 million.
