Mohawk Announces Another Price Increase, Effective April 4

Calhoun, GA, March 18, 2022-Mohawk announced that it will be raising prices a minimum of $0.27 per square yard on soft surfaces and 4% to 6% on hard surfaces, accessories, cushion and mainstreet commercial styles. In addition, freight rates on carpet will increase $.05 per square yard and hard surface drop charges will increase $10. Product price increases will be effective with orders and shipments on or after May 9, 2022. Freight increases will be effective April 4, 2022.

Says the company, “Unfortunately, since our last price increase letter dated February 23, there has been an unprecedented spike in oil prices, major energy inflation and widespread transportation cost increases. It's not expected that inflation will be subsiding any time soon, as fluctuating energy prices are impacting the global market.”
