Los Angeles, CA, Jan. 13--Jack Mishkin has recently acquired the assets of Steven C. Fine Floor Coverings. The new company, a division of J. Mish, Inc., will continue doing business as Steven C. Fine Floor Coverings.
Steve Couch and Jack Mishkin have teamed up in this new venture. Couch brings a wealth of knowledge in the wool business. Mishkin, former v.p. of product development at Monteray and Bentley Mills, is well known for his innovative commercial carpet styling.
Mishkin and Couch have already ordered substantial inventories to service their customer base. The company will show its exciting new wool products at Surfaces.
Mishkin feels that their customers, U.S. residential flooring dealers, are always looking for creative niche suppliers that will allow them to differentiate themselves. Mishkin's approach should give retailers the unique, new products they're looking for.
