Woodstock, GA, October 21 -- The Independent Flooring Dealers of America, Inc. has appointed Bob Mills national advertising director.
Mills was formerly the Southeast regional manager for the Flooring American division of CCA Global Partners, prior to that company’s closing of its Atlanta office and relocation to Manchester, NH. Mills, with deep family ties in Georgia, opted to leave CCA Global rather than move north.
In the early ‘90s Mills was senior account manager for the Maxim Group’s CarpetMAX division, and when purchased by CCA Global, he came aboard at Flooring America as regional manager.
Joining IFDA affords Mills the opportunity of again working with Roger Ardston and Kevin Lea, vice president, as they too once held executive positions at Maxim before forming IFDA in 1996.
"We are delighted to have acquired Bob," says Roger Ardston, president and CEO of IFDA, "because at this time there are very few people in the flooring business who have his background, experience and knowledge in all aspects of retail advertising. He will be a tremendous asset to our existing clients and to the growth of a new roster of floor covering dealers."
