Middle East Sees Growing Construction Activity
Dubai, UAE, April 26, 2010--Domotex Middle East says that improving real estate activity across the Middle East is expected to generate 15% annual growth for the foreseeable future.
Domotex Middle East 2010, the largest floorcovering show in the region, will be held from May 10 to 12 at the Dubai International Convention & Exhibition Centre.
Domotex Middle East noted that Oman maintains its positive outlook with a projected 2.7% annual growth in the construction sector. Qatar on the other hand, also continues to open new opportunities for the carpets and floor covering industry, as an estimated 16%.
In Bahrain, an estimated deficit of 40,000 housing units is likewise driving construction activity in the residential segment. Similarly Kuwait is expecting to see prices in the residential segment is increase by 10-15% per cent during the first half of 2010.
Domotex Middle East is targeting wholesalers and retailers in the carpet and floor coverings sector as well as decision-makers from construction companies, architects, interior designers, project planners, floor layers and fitters.
