Michigan Retailer Expands Operations

Macomb County, MI, January 24--A Clinton Township flooring retailer has doubled its operations. Mark Saunders and Cori Bilodeau, owners of the Karpet-N-More store on Groesbeck in Clinton Township, recently purchased Romeo Floor Covering on Saint Clair Street (32 Mile Road) in Romeo, according to the Macomb Daily. Saunders and Bilodeau had been operating Karpet-N-More since 1993. The two will now be involved in both operations. The staff of the two stores will remain in place. Between the operations, the company employs about 20 people. "We pride ourselves at KNM and RFC to be able to offer competitive prices on all of our products, with exceptional customer service and professional installation," Saunders said. In addition to carpeting, the stores carry a variety of floor coverings products, including tile, laminates, hardwoods and ceramics. The stores also carry draperies and other window treatments. Both stores offer next-day installation services. "We understand purchasing new floor covering may not be an easy task to undertake, however, it is our goal to make it a delightful and exciting experience, as new flooring should be," Bilodeau said. In addition to offering a variety of installation services with veteran installers, Saunders and Bilodeau recently added a large variety of remnants of carpet and a selection of laminate flooring to the Romeo store as cash-and-carry for the do-it-yourselfer.
