Merida Meridan Intros Viewpoint Dimensions Line

Marble Hill, June 7, 2007--Merida Meridian’s tradition of creating distinctive floor coverings by integrating the finest quality natural fibers with innovative textile design continues with Viewpont Dimensions. This innovative collection features pattern-on-pattern rugs in tone-on-tone colors and cut-and loop-textures. Merida designed Viewpoint Dimensions and manufacturers it in the company’s Fall River, Massachusetts facility using patent-pending technology.

Within Viewpoint, which Merida originally introduced in 2004, are collections filled with flat-woven variations of floral and geometic patterns. Dimensions is the latest addition to the Viewpoint family and includes five new designs and four colorways. Merida created Dimensions by overlapping patterns from existing Viewpoint styles, which gives the rugs an intriguing three-dimensional quality. Soothing shades of plum, blue, yellow and green soften the patterns and complement the comforting qualities of its cut-and-loop texture.

Viewpoint Dimensions is crafted of 100% New Zealand wool and has been approved to carry the Wools of New Zealand Brand. Standard sizes include 2'6" x 9", 3' x 9', 4' x 6', 5' x 8' and 6' x 9' with custom sizes and colors available. Suggested retail is $1,275.00 for a 6' x 9'.

Merida will display Viewpoint Dimensions, along with its entire offering of natural fiber rugs and runners, from July 15-18 at the Atlanta Rug Market, AmericasMart 9E-13.
