Median Home Prices Near One-Year High

Washington, DC, May 17, 2012 -- Median home list prices in April rose to their highest level in nearly a year, according to Realtor.com.

Also, the number of homes listed for sale fell nearly 19% from a year ago.

Median asking prices were up in 72 markets, flat in 14 markets, and down in 60 markets compared to a year ago, the real estate group said.
