MediaLab Adds New Feature to Interactive Floor Pla

Tampa, FL, April 5--MediaLab announced today a new feature of its Floor Plan Markup Manager that allows customers to mark the location and type of flooring on the interactive floor plan. "The Floor Plan Markup Manager was introduced to great accolades from the building industry," said Mike Lozicki, president of MediaLab. "This new feature further enhances the product's usefulness for customer and builder alike." Customers can indicate the type of flooring from wood and tile to carpet and linoleum on the floor plan as well as the area where it should be placed. Using Floor Plan Markup Manager, customers can draw everything on a floor plan electronically. There are drag and drop symbols for all possible options including structural changes. A click of the mouse will change the view from the first to second floor. Sales people can save the customer selections, print a personalized brochure and incorporate it into the sales contract. Homebuilders can show their subcontractor customer-selected locations of phone, lighting, cable and other outlets and switches created by clicking, dragging and placing symbols with a computer mouse. The program eliminates sketching on a brochure, redrawing plans and copying for each trade, saving time and money. Subcontractors can log on to the builder's Web site anytime to see an electronic version of the updated home plan. Customers can work from the privacy of their own home or with their sales person to plan their new home.
