Osaka, Japan, July 19--Matsushita Electric has launched an electric carpet that automatically adjusts temperature according to the movement of people.
It was reported that the carpet adjusts the room temperature and the temperature on the carpet where a person is sitting. The carpet uses a IR sensor placed next to the carpet to detect the presence of a person. The carpets are tatami mat suitable. So people in Japan can make their bed on the electric carpet to keep them cozy.
