Matamoros and Monaghan Join Sphinx

Dalton, GA, March 31, 2006--Sphinx has named David Matamoros as southeast regional manager and Tom Monaghan as national accounts director. Bringing over 21 years experience to the team, David Matamors will take the lead in the southeastern region overseeing and developing the territory. Prior to joining Sphinx, Matamoros was with Beaulieu as the executive vice president of home centers and most recently with Monticello Carpets as the national sales manager. Tom Monaghan, also an industry veteran, brings over 23 years experience to his new post as national accounts director for Sphinx. Monaghan got his start with Masland in 1983 and comes to Sphinx from Karastan where he served in various capacities over the last 12 years including regional rug specialist, regional rug account manager, and national accounts manager.
