Maryland Fine Rug Firm Affected by Embargo

Chevy Chase, MD, Sept. 14, 2011 -- Parvizian Fine Rugs, a longtime landmark in Chevy Chase that serves an affluent clientele, is downsizing and moving to smaller space, according to the Washington Post.

The owner told the Post that the U.S. embargo on Iranian products has cut off access to top quality products, while demand is surging in emerging markets like China.
