Mapei Quebec Plant Gets ISO 14001 Certification

Deerfield Beach, FL, Feb. 22, 2011 -- Mapei's Laval, Quebec, plant – the first of 18 company facilities established in the Americas – gained ISO 14001 certification for its Environmental Management System. 

In 1998 the Mapei Group's main production and distribution center in Italy incorporated the Environmental Management System in accordance with the ISO 14001 standard.

The company said it will push to have all its plants achieve the certification.
