Mannington, Texas Firm Team on VCT Recycling
Salem, NJ, July 1, 2011 -- Mannington Commercial's VCT recycling program
said it has a new partnership with Texan Floor Service.
Mannington's
n2 VCT program reclaims large quantities of VCT and recycles it into
new flooring products.
The resulting products also include
recycled drywall from renovation and demolition sites.
Texan
Floor Service is a commercial flooring contractor covering markets from
El Paso to North Carolina. It also claims to be Houston’s only no carpet
to landfill company.
The partnership lined up with Mannington's
needs, as the flooring manufacturer looks to increase the amount of
recycled flooring it is incorporating into a range of products including
VCT, rubber tile, wall base, carpet and resilient sheet flooring.
"During
the first years of our VCT reclamation program, we took back tile from
renovation sites within 500 miles of our New Jersey facilities," said
Zack Zehner, Mannington's VP of commercial hard surface.
"As we
have become more efficient and continue to push product development...we
are increasing our ability to incorporate recycled content."
Texan
Floor Service specializes in healthcare, hospitality, retail and office
installations.
