Mannington Resilient Tile Gets NSF Certification

Salem, NJ, Feb. 10, 2009--Mannington Commercial’s premium resilient tile flooring lines have been certified to the Sustainability Assessment for Resilient Floor Coverings, NSF 332-2007 Draft Gold Standard.

The certification recognizes the brand as environmentally preferable, meeting the resilient flooring requirements set forth by NSF International.

The Mannington Commercial premium tile lines feature progressive aesthetics and through-pattern color construction that permeates the entire thickness of the tile, making wear from scuffs, scrapes and traffic virtually undetectable.

Three of the brand’s styles that were cited— Brushwork, ColorPoint, and SolidPoint—contain pre and post-consumer recycled content, while a fourth, Inspirations, features pre-consumer recycled content.  All of these products are manufactured in the U.S.

The newly certified lines are the most recent Mannington Commercial products to earn the distinction. Last May, Mannington Commercial was the first manufacturer to receive NSF 332 Gold draft standard certification for all of its inlaid resilient flooring. In addition, two Mannington carpet backing systems were certified to the NSF 140 standard for carpeting earlier this year.
