Mannington Makes Thanksgiving Donation to Meals on

Salem, NJ, November 23--In the spirit of Thanksgiving, today Mannington Mills presented a check for $11,000 to the Salem County Meals on Wheels program, the largest single donation that the organization has ever received. The donation represents the proceeds from a corporate cookbook produced by the associates of Mannington Mills. In a ceremony this morning at Mannington’s corporate headquarters in Salem, N.J., cookbook committee chairperson Susan Bompadre presented the check. Bompadre noted, "As a company, we at Mannington are always looking for ways to fulfill our mission, part of which states "Care and Do the Right Thing." So it seemed natural that the proceeds from our cookbook would go to another organization that shares those values. Meals on Wheels was the perfect fit.
