Mannington Intros New Hardwoods

Salem, NJ, March 29, 2006 This Spring, Mannington is taking flooring fashion to new heights with an array of new hardwood introductions. A low-lustre finish enhances high style in cherry, hickory, and maple, which offers consumers their pick of gorgeous wood flooring to set the stage for their homes. The warm look of cherry is finding its way into Mannington’s new product offering in a big way. Three new looks in cherry are coming out this year: Hamilton Cherry offers a more refined rustic look, with gentle distressing to give it a comfortable, casual feel that strikes the perfect balance between traditional and rustic. Its popular 5”-wide plank format and very low gloss are in response to consumer demand. Stockbridge Cherry brings the beauty of a handscraped floor to a cherry wood. With beveled edges, 5”-wide plank format, and very low gloss, it offers a warmth and depth not seen in other types of floors. Bennelong Cherry offers a traditional cherry floor in today’s more fashionable 5”-wide plank look. With a gently microbeveled edge and low gloss, it’s traditional, with a twist. Ol’ Hickory Hickory floors have become increasingly popular over the past few years. Mannington has brought two new looks into the line: one a refined rustic, the other a handscraped. Highland Hickory, like Hamilton Cherry, offers a more refined, understated rustic look. A 5”-inch plank, with microbevel and low gloss, Highland Hickory has no rough sawmarks or heavy distressing, and eases itself into almost any décor. Broad River Hickory is a new handscraped hardwood that offers real texture and dimension. Again, the popular 5”-wide format is used, and its three warm colors and low gloss allow for many options when choosing furniture and other accessories for the room.
