Mannington Hikes Prices 3-5% on Residential, Comme
Salem, NJ, February 3--Mannington Mills, Inc. announced today that it will be instituting price increases across both residential and commercial sheet vinyl lines. The company cites significant increases in raw materials as reason for this action. Effective with shipments on Monday, April 4, 2005, there will be increases of 3-5 percent on commercial and residential sheet vinyl products. "We continue to experience unprecedented increases in our key raw materials," said Tom Davis, president and CEO, Mannington Mills. He continued, "These significant cost increases necessitate our price increase to the market. However, to allow our customers to make appropriate plans and to assure implementation during a stronger selling season, we have chosen the date Monday, April 4th."
