Mannington Commercial Using Antron Bio Fiber

Calhoun, GA, Nov. 12, 2009--Mannington Commercial said that 33 of its carpet products are now available using Antron Bio Legacy nylon, the first dyeable Bio Antron carpet fiber with bio-based content, designed specifically for commercial market applications.

The fiber fits well with Mannington's carpet reclamation and recycling programs, such as its Loop program.

"We believe that take back programs are essential, across the industry," says Kurt Topp, Mannington Vice President of Commercial Carpet."

Bio Legacy nylon contains 10% bio-based material derived from the castor bean, a high-yielding renewable resource and the fiber is performance tested to stand up to the rigorous conditions of commercial applications, Mannington said.
