Mannington Celebrates Safety Milestone

Salem, NJ, August 22, 2007 – Mannington Mills’ Salem, New Jersey, manufacturing facility recently marked one year without a time-losing injury.

The facility manufactures residential and commercial sheet vinyl as well as vinyl composition tile and is located at the company’s headquarters.

“Reaching goals like this only happens when everyone shares the same commitment to safety, said Mike Hopp, senior vice president of human resources. "Making our product safely is a top priority, we are committed to the safety of everyone working at Mannington.”

The company has earned a number of safety and process-related awards over the years, including the Chairman’s Award from the Chemistry Council of New Jersey (CCNJ) for outstanding safety, health and environmental performance.
