Managing Director Leaves Neuhofer Holz

Zell am Moos, Austria, April 12, 2011 -- Flooring profiles and accessories firm Neuhofer Holz said that Martin Neuhofer, managing director of Neuhofer Holz GmbH, left the family business at the end of March.

“This separation took place with the full agreement of my brother Franz and the family,” said Martin Neuhofer, who decided to terminate his function, according to a press release.

The brothers have managed the business together for the last 25 years and the company is now in its 10th generation.

“Substantial preparations for my departure were undertaken over the last few weeks to ensure that the company would continue to be well managed,” says Martin Neuhofer.

Franz Neuhofer has now taken over his brother’s shares, making him the sole managing director of Neuhofer Holz GmbH.

Martin Neuhofer intends to continue his career in the timber industry in the future, according to the company statement.
