Lumber Liquidators Will Not Resume Sales of Chinese-Made Laminate
Toano, VA, June 17, 2016—The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission has completed its probe of Lumber Liquidators, and the company has agreed to cease sales of Chinese-made laminate flooring.
Since the controversy over high formaldehyde levels in the company’s Chinese-made laminate flooring began in March 2015 when 60 Minutes issued a report, the company’s stock has dropped more than 70%, according to Seeking Alpha.
Lumber Liquidators has pledged to continue testing the floors already in place.
