Lumber Liquidators To Sponsor Pro Bowlers Tour

Seattle, WA, Sept. 24, 2008--The Professional Bowlers Association said it’s signed a three-year sponsorship deal for a “multimillion-dollar” amount with Lumber Liquidators, according to the Puget Sound Business Journal.

The Seattle-based bowling association said the deal will include the Toano, Va.-based hardwood flooring company’s name on the PBA’s logo. Lumber Liquidators replaces former PBA title sponsor Denny’s.

As part of the deal, Lumber Liquidators will sponsor six bowlers — Patrick Allen, Tommy Jones, Rhino Page, Parker Bohn III, Michael Fagan and Brian Kretzer. The deal runs through the tour’s 2010-2011 season.

The 2008-2009 season begins with the Chris Paul Celebrity PBA Doubles Invitational presented by the brands of Ebonite International in Winston-Salem, N.C.
