Lumber Liquidators Settles with CARB for $2.5 Million

Toana, VA, March 23, 2016—Lumber Liquidators will pay $2.5 million to settle allegations that some of its Chinese-made laminate flooring products violated California Air Resource Board (CARB) standards.

This fully resolves CARB’s inquiry into the company’s violations.

The company also agreed to implement voluntary compliance procedures to ensure all its flooring products comply with CARB's formaldehyde standards moving forward.

The company didn’t acknowledge any wrongdoing in the settlement.
