Lumber Liquidators Replaces CFO, March Sales Down 12.8%

Toana, VA, April 29, 2015--Lumber Liquidators’ CFO Dan Terrell will be replaced on June 1.  Gregory Whirley, a senior manager with Earnst & Young Gregory, has been named interim CFO.

Rocked by the formaldehyde controversy, which broke March 2, the company’s March sales were down 12.8% at $260 million.

April sales, through the 27th, are down 1.9%.

In addtion, the Justice Department is seeking criminal charges against the company under the Lacey Act in its ongoing investigation regarding the companies importing practices, reports the Associated Press.
