Lowe's Selling Mohawk's Premier Living
Wilkesboro, NC, June 11--Today, Lowe's announced the addition of three new brands to its portfolio, bringing added value to do-it-yourself enthusiasts. The Hitachi and Mohawk brands build on Lowe's long standing "up the continuum" merchandising strategy of offering a full assortment of merchandise from opening price point, value-priced products to the best-known and respected premium brands. In addition, Bosch small appliances are premiering at Lowe's, the only home center to offer Bosch's premium-quality products. Hitachi electric power tools and Bosch small appliances are now available in Lowe's stores, and Mohawk Premier Living carpeting, developed exclusively for Lowe's, debuted nationwide in May. "The Hitachi, Bosch and Mohawk brands represent the quality, style and innovation Lowe's continues to bring our customers as part of our successful merchandising strategy," explained Dale Pond, Lowe's senior executive vice president of merchandising/marketing. To further enhance its extensive flooring selection, Lowe's is introducing Mohawk Premier Living premium carpet, developed by one of the largest floor covering companies in the world. Mohawk Premier Living offers the latest designs, textures and weaves, with more than 60 styles, as well as 3,000 additional colors for consumers who know quality and fashion and trust Mohawk's proven brand.
