Louisville, KY, August 3, 2006--John Stern, formerly of Kentucky Wood Floors, announced the creation of a new company called Louisville Wood Floors, created to provide the specifiers with a broad selection of specialty hardwood flooring and accessories. Said Stern, "Our product line includes a wide variety of patterns, domestic and imported wood species from Ash to Zebrawood, solid and engineered construction, unfinished and prefinished options, and textures from smooth to wire-brushed to hand distressed. "When I left Kentucky Wood Floors last month, I had intended to "take a break" for an indefinite period of time. However, two things have prevented me from pursuing this course of 'inaction.' First, many in the industry urged me to reconsider and assist in providing for their specialty hardwood flooring needs. And second, I actually missed the contact and the excitement of the day-to-day action in pursuit of providing the appropriate product for each specific application.
