Louisiana-Pacific Posts 4th Quarter Loss

New York, NY, February 9, 2007--Building products company Louisiana-Pacific Corp. reported a fourth-quarter loss on Tuesday, after a year-ago profit, as weakened demand impacted volume and pricing on all its products.

The company posted a loss of $24.6 million, or 24 cents a share, compared with a profit of $85.2 million, or 80 cents a share, a year ago.
