Lorberbaum Named Best Performing Boss By Forbes

Dalton, GA, May 8, 2007--Mohawk Industries Chief Executive Officer Jeffrey S. Lorberbaum was named by Forbes.com as one of "America's Best Performing Bosses."

"These 10 CEOs have given their shareholders the biggest bang for the buck," magazine said.

The annualized total return during his six-year tenure has been 20 percent, according to the magazine. His six-year average compensation is listed at $2.7 million.

The list includes Blake W. Nordstrom of Nordstrom, Margaret C. Whitman of eBay and Jeffrey P. Bezos of Amazon.com.
