L&M Concrete Products Pass VOC Lab Tests

Omaha, NE,  July 7, 2009--Four concrete floor products from L&M Construction Chemicals have passed laboratory tests indicating their levels of volatile organic chemical emissions are below accepted standards within the building industry.

The test results mean that three of L&M's FGS/PermaShine family of products and its Seal Hard product can now be included on the Collaborative for High Performance Schools Low-Emitting Materials Table.

This industry database of green products is the accepted standard for VOC emissions by the LEED for Schools Green Building Rating System and as an option for compliance in the new 2009 LEED for New Construction (NC) and LEED for Core and Shell (CS) rating programs.

The tests were conducted earlier this year by Berkeley Analytical Associates, a certified independent laboratory.
