San Francisco, CA, April 11--Lizz Greer, designer of unique and exquisitely hand crafted artisan textiles, will debut her Asian Fusion Rug Collection at The New York Home Textiles Show at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center in New York on April 8-11th 2005. Drawing from her extensive fine arts and graphic design background, Lizz Greer creates limited edition artisan rugs -- luxurious works of art for the discriminating customer. The Asian Fusion collection is inspired by Lizz's extensive travels in Japan and Hong Kong as well as her intense lifelong interest in the culture, philosophy and spirituality of the East. Her debut collection fuses classic Asian imagery with contemporary design elements resulting in timeless works of art that transcend many different decor styles. Lizz Greer rugs are completely hand crafted in Nepal beginning with the meticulous preparation and dyeing of the highest quality wool and silk. Then master weavers using ancient Tibetan handknotting techniques bring her designs to life. Lizz Greer is a member of the RugMark foundation, a nonprofit organization working to end illegal child labor in the carpet industry.
