Leonardo Academy Makes Committee Appointment

Madison, WI, Aug. 14, 2009--Leonardo Academy has appointed Eric Lombardi, executive director of Eco-Cycle, one of the largest nonprofit recycling organizations in the U.S., to the SCS-002 Standards Committee Environmental Interest Category.

Applications are also being accepted for three additional openings on the Committee, within the Producer, User and General Interest Categories.

Any individual or representative of an organization that 1) produces or supplies goods, 2) uses goods or 3) is a government representative, academic researcher, representative of a consumer group or other interested party, and is interested in participating in a national dialogue on life-cycle assessment and Type III labeling, is encouraged to apply.
