New York, April 5--Lehman Brothers has lowered its first quarter, 2005 and 2006 earnings per share estimates for Home Depot, citing its belief that "sales have been negatively impacted by poor weather, particularly in the Northeast, deflationary lumber trends, and higher energy costs" as well as U.S. interest rate trends.
The broker sees first quarter earnings at 55 cents a share, down from a prior estimate at 57 cents and now sees 2005 at $2.54 a share and 2006 at $2.86 a share.
