Laurel Hurd Named to Forbes' 2024 50 Over 50 List

New York, NY, August 6, 2024-Laurel Hurd, CEO of Interface, was included in Forbes 50 Over 50: Innovation list, which celebrates women over the age of 50 who are leading in their respective fields.

Of Hurd, Forbes writes, “Interface is a global flooring company with $1.3 billion annual sales and an ambitious target to be carbon negative by 2040. Laurel Hurd, CEO since 2022, has said the company is not satisfied with just eliminating its negative impact on the environment-a goal it accomplished in 2019-but to store more carbon than it emits and become a carbon reducer.
