Landfill Closure Firm To Use Shaw Synthetic Turf

Dalton, GA, Nov. 29, 2011 -- Shaw Industries will become the exclusive provider of synthetic turf material used by ClosureTurf, LLC, an Atlanta-based landfill closure systems provider.

This partnership will further diversify Shaw’s growing portfolio of synthetic turf-based businesses that includes Shaw Sportexe and Southwest Greens International.

By eliminating the top soil covering, ClosureTurf prevents the transportation of thousands of truck loads of top soil, and at the same time allowing the resulting saved space to be used for more waste disposal,maximizing the use of the landfill before closing.
