Monticello, AR, August 18 -- Yanoor Corp (d/b/a Burlington Rug Corporation) announced today that its founder and CEO, Saeid Korhani, has sold all of his stock in Yanoor Corp to Prudential Capital Partners, L.P., an investor in Yanoor Corp since 2002.
"I am proud to have kept the Burlington Monticello plant open, which had been set for closure in year 2000 and in successful operation, and to sell it to such a strong financial owner to maximize its potential," Korhani said.
Yanoor, the owner of Burlington Rugs and Monticello Carpet Mills, was formed by Korhani several years ago to purchase the rug and carpet manufacturing facilities of Burlington Industries.
Over the past several years the Yanoor Burlington Rugs Division has become one of the leading sources of scatter and room size rugs for the North American retail market.
Its facilities in Monticello, Arkansas are among the world's largest and feature a state of the art rug dye house and fabrication facility. With more than 50 years history in manufacturing, the Monticello facility has been an industry standard for design and quality.
